Meet Our Executive Team

Courtney, Founder & Owner

20170622_SeacoastMomsBlogEvent-163

With an extensive background in public relations, brand strategy, communications and graphic design, Courtney felt an instant connection and desire to service and inspire this unique community when she moved to the Seacoast two years ago. Seacoast Moms Blog was launched in May 2015 and continues its mission to connect online, as well as offline, and to inform and empower the families locally and beyond.

When not working behind the scenes of the blog, she can be found chasing and never quite catching up to her seven-year-old daughter and five-year-old son. She fills her cup by volunteering at the schools and coaching various local leagues, surrounded by those who inspire her most–the kids! Local businesses and supportive content are the heart of this project, and popping in to visit the many entrepreneurs and meeting the people who support them are key to Courtney’s influence as a small business owner herself.

She’s a social butterfly and can’t wait to see you around! Be sure to say hi and share what YOU want to see happen in your remarkable community.

Allison, Director of Sales

20170622_SeacoastMomsBlogEvent-93

Allison’s mission in life is to notice the extraordinary in the ordinary. Her commitment to see beyond what’s in front of her was fostered by her degree in Philosophy and Theology from Boston College. Allison’s a book nerd and hoarder, and credits her parents and inspiring English teachers for her love of reading and writing. She went on to earn her Master in Pastoral Ministry from Boston College and then taught high school for several years, both in New England and San Francisco. After moving from San Francisco to Boston with her engineer husband, she began teaching yoga and working as a social media marketing consultant.

Now a Portsmouth resident, she spends most of her days with her daughters (ages four, two and one on the way!) and does her best to find the bliss amidst the endless snacking, Trolls dance parties and tiaras. With all the beautiful chaos in her life, she’s grateful to have her partner-in-crime (husband Charlie) and fellow movie quote enthusiast alongside her.

Her passion for writing first drew her to Seacoast Moms Blog as a contributing writer, and her desire to connect moms of the Seacoast with businesses who serve and interest them led her to become SMB’s Director of Sales. Being able to write about the ordinary grace present in motherhood, while interacting with incredible Seacoast business owners is a dream come true.
